Mosaic Wonder

You may have hundreds or thousands of pictures on your computer, but you will probably view only a few of them, from time to time. If they are too important to erase, but you don't know what to do with them, you should try creating a mosaic. Mosaic Wonder can help you with this task. It can analyze and index your pictures and use the best matches to create a high quality mosaic.

The software comes in Standard and Professional versions, but you can also use its Unregistered version, free of charge, but with a few limitations. To install it on your computer, you have to go through a standard procedure, with simple options. You don't have to meet any special requirements and the setup wizard will not install any additional tools or make changes to your web browser.

Mosaic Wonder provides a simple user interface, with easy to understand functions. You can find everything you need on the same window, so you will not have to get lost in a thick layer of menus and options. You may select a pictures folder and a main image, with different options, located in the Image menu. The main image is displayed in a preview area, which takes up most of the interface and you can make various output settings, on the right side of the window.

Mosaics can be created manually or with a wizard's aid. The wizard will ask you to select your pictures folder and the main image, set up a number of grid tiles, specify how many copies of the same image to use in your mosaic and set up a distance between them. Additionally, you can choose between a random, circular, top to bottom or left to right pattern for your mosaic.

You can make many more settings if you decide to create a mosaic on the main interface. Besides specifying a number of grids, copies and so on, you may also adjust the rendering of effects and colors or flip and rotate the image. As you make your adjustments, the software will tell you how many images it requires for the mosaic and how many are available. Furthermore, it can tell you how many images match the main picture's colors and other aspects. If you wish to increase or decrease the application's tolerance, you can tick a few options to include or exclude images that match the main picture's orientation and aspect ration and select a minimum size.
